CHILDREN’S OBESITY FUND

It is an indisputable fact that obesity has become an aggressive and virulent health issue not only for adults, but increasingly for children. The more the effects of obesity are studied, the more alarmed we become by the findings. For example, it was recently discovered that the obesity epidemic has not only affected the physical health of all those who suffer from it, but it may affect future generations as well—in ways we might not have anticipated.

NO MORE POVERTY

NO MORE POVERTY was founded by the Omidi brothers, Julian Omidi and Michael Omidi, M.D. Moved by the daily struggles of the impoverished throughout this world, they established this not-for-profit charity to support dedicated individuals and compassionate charities that are truly making a difference in the world.

“Making a difference” is a common phrase in today’s vernacular, and it can easily be construed as trite. That’s understandable, but it truly sums up the brothers’ feelings about addressing the plight of the less fortunate.  Through NO MORE POVERTY, the brothers want to reach out, offer support, education, counsel, and help improve the lives of the disadvantaged.

ANIMAL SUPPORT

By founding Animal Support, my brother, Dr. Michael Omidi and I hope to serve this helpless population and prevent the needless abuse and suffering that goes unchecked every day.

NO MORE POVERTY

I would guess that everyone has had a teacher, parent or mentor that has gone out of their way to make a difference in their lives. Without the help and support of a generous benefactor, many of us would never have had the strength of will, funds or confidence to achieve personal or professional success. When my brother, Dr. Michael Omidi and I thought of the many different people who had a positive effect on our lives, we thought it would be nice to acknowledge everyone in our communities that has had a hand in making someone’s life a little bit better.
